Sammy and Sassy, Cypress Ridge's resident ospreys, have begun another family here this spring! A single chick has been spotted in the osprey nesting dish at the K-1 car rider side of campus. We narrowed down the suggestions from the Celebration of Learning and took a vote: Oscar is the winning name! The first round of FSA scores are in, and Cypress Ridge 3rd graders topped the charts in Lake County with 88% scoring at Level 3 and above! Presley Brayman, a 4th grader in Mr. Davidson's class, won the LCSD Tropicana Speech Contest May 9. She was an expert on her chosen topic, braces, and wowed the judges with her charm, preparation, and delivery. Well done Presley. We are so proud of you!
