    Friday, May 24 Request handicap seats for graduation (Drees)

    Wed., May 29 Senior Checklist due (guidance)

    Handicap seating for graduation: Each senior may request up to two (2) passes for a handicap seating area for guests who cannot climb into the stadium. This special seating, is NOT additional tickets. Please note: handicap parking is extremely limited.

    Deadline for requests for handicapped seating is Friday, May 24. (See Mrs. Drees)

     

    Tues. May 21, Senior Awards Night THS auditorium 7 pm

    Wed., May 22 Last Homebase. (Senior checklist distributed.) Seniors will receive a checklist that must be completed before graduation. This verifies that the senior has no obligations to the school.

    Thursday, May 23- Wednesday May 29 Senior Final Exams

    Thursday, May 23 Exams for Periods 1B, 3B

    Friday, May 24 Exams for Periods 2A, 4A

    Monday, May 27 Memorial Day—no school

    Tuesday, May 28 Exams for Periods 2B/E, 4B/E

    Monday, May 13 – Friday, May 17 Senior Week

    During home base on May 1– Seniors will receive permission paperwork for Senior Picnic and Pancake breakfast. Also, lanyards for seniors to wear during Senior Week will be distributed. (These lanyards MUST be worn during Senior Week, if students wish to participate in the planned activities.)

    Thursday, May 16 Attire: Senior Citizen Day

    Friday, May 17 Attire: Senior shirts or red/white spirit shirts

    Senior Picnic at Hickory Point. Seniors with permission paperwork completed and returned will be released at noon on Friday. Those with permission may drive to Hickory Point (Note: Students: you may not take anyone in your car. ) Bus: Those with "bus tickets" will board the buses on Ianthe Street to go to Hickory Point. Food and fun along with distributing caps/gowns and yearbooks

    1:55 – Buses will return to THS

    Tuesday, May 21 Senior Awards—7pm. THS auditorium

    Sunday, May 26 Baccalaureate 

    Friday, May 31 Graduation

    8:00- noon MANDATORY Graduation practice.

    Assemble in the auditorium. School dress code is still in effect. However, practice will continue in the stadium. Seniors may bring hats/sunglasses and water to have on the field. Do NOT plan to leave early.

    Note: Tickets for graduation will be distributed at the end of practice .Each senior will receive seven (7) tickets for graduation guests. Everyone attending must have a ticket.

    7:00 pm Gates open for guests. Everyone must have a ticket to enter

    7:15 pm Seniors report to the auditorium for graduation

    8:00pm Graduation exercises in AA. Boggus Stadium

    After the ceremonies, seniors may pick up their "real" diplomas in the visitor side concession stands.

    Note: in case of rain Friday evening, graduation will be held Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 10 am, THS stadium
     
    Dual Enrollment  News for LSSC
     The Summer 13 enrollment checklist is now available on the DE webpage. Please feel free to make copies and distribute to prospective students and parents.

     

    Please note, students will need to go to the link provided on the checklist (also available on the DE webpage titled New Student Orientation) to view a list of summer orientation dates. They are also required to visit this link to complete the mandatory online orientation session. They can call either campus to call and make an appointment to attend the Live Advising Session and are required to bring the completed posttest with them. This will serve as their “ticket” into the Live Orientation session.

     

    GUIDANCE 

    • Summer PERT Test and Textbook Disbursement for Dual Enrollment students:  PERT Test/Book InfoSeniors who have completed the FFAA and did not submit their social security number will need to provide Mrs. Croker with a copy of their social security card as soon as possible. This must be done prior to graduation in order to meet the Florida Bright Future Requirement. Any questions, see Mrs. Croker.
