Student Recognition
The administration, faculty, and staff at Carver Middle School encourage each of you to strive for excellence.  To reward outstanding students, we have instituted a student recognition program:
A-B Honor Roll Awards Students who attain a 3.0 or better GPA with no "C"s for the nine-week grading period will be recognized by the administration.  The form of this recognition may vary from marking period to marking period.
Special Awards Whenever a Carver student wins an honor at the county level or higher, he/she will be recognized by the administration.
Carver Jam Carver Jam is a reward program every nine weeks to recognize students based on attendance, behavior, and academic achievement.  Carver Jam is supported by the Carver Middle School PTO and local business partners.
End of the Year Awards An awards ceremony is held at the end of the year to honor outstanding students in each grade and academic area.
Beta Club Students with a 3.25 or higher GPA average, with no "C"s, may apply for Beta Club membership.  Students are chosen based on specific criteria outlined in the Beta Club Charter including teacher recommendations and outstanding behavior.
F.A.M.E. Students can qualify for Fantastic Achievement in Middle Education by achieving a 3.5 or better for each of the first three nine weeks of the year with no grade below a "B" in any course.  A ceremony is held annually to recognize these winners.
