Excellence: 
Lake County Virtual School offers access to high quality, technology-based education. Lake County Virtual courses may be used to satisfy graduation requirements, make up credit, or accelerate a program of study.

Students receive individualized instruction utilizing the internet, e-mail, telephone, instant messaging, online collaboration, and face-to-face teacher forums. The online format allows flexibility of time, and location while promoting the skills, attitude and self discipline necessary to succeed in the 21st century.  Lake County Virtual School provides a rigorous curriculum that will prepare every student for college and career.

Handbook
All students and parents of students considering enrolling in Lake County Virtual should read the Lake County Virtual School Curriculum Guide and Handbook that can be accessed here . Valuable information including enrollment requirements, requirements to remain enrolled, a typical day in virtual school and other vital information is included.  Parents and students will have to attend an orientation meeting along with signing the student/parent acknowledgment form as a requirement of enrollment.

  • The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) requires that school districts provide parents with an annual school status report, known as the School Public Accountability Reports (SPARs).   The reports can be accessed by using the link provided above.

  • Registration for students wishing to enroll as a full-time student for the 2015-2016 school year with Lake County Virtual School started April 20th and will end July 29th.  All students and parents of students who are new to full-time Lake County Virtual must plan to attend one of our orientation sessions.  Part-time students will also be able to gather much needed information at these sessions and are welcome, but not required to attend.  Please check our calendar for times and places.
