Each year, the Florida Department of Education (FDOE) surveys parents of children with an individual educational plan (IEP) to determine how well your child’s school is partnering with you and promoting your involvement in your child’s education.

The 2015 Stakeholder Surveys are now available and you are invited to participate in these surveys to provide important information that will be used to improve schools and the district. All responses are confidential. These surveys are done through AdvancED, the district’s accrediting agency. District staff members do not have access to identify respondents. Your input is valued and appreciated! Surveys will remain open until Friday, May 1, 2015.
Our students will have access to Istation reading program during the summer. Your students will continue to read stories and practice skills is game a game like environment without assessments. Istation will be available June 15th – July 31st. Click the title for helpful documents.
The Minneola Elementary Charter School Talent show was another huge success! Thank you to everyone that came out to support the amazing talent of our students, as well as the fun had by our faculty, staff and administration during the first act. All proceeds will be donated to Chloe, a student at Grassy Lake Elementary, who is battling cancer. Thank you to Kerri Privitera for bringing a talent show to our school and continuing the tradition year after year. Thank you to Lake Minneola High School for allowing us to utilize their facility, and providing assistance while doing so. Thank you to our amazing and talented students for their strength and courage to get on stage and let their talents shine! Thank you to our Minneola Charter parents for being supportive and dedicated. Bravo...what a wonderful night!
Intent to Return forms for the 2015-16 school year were due Friday, April 24th, with a deadline extension of today, Wednesday April 29th. If you have not turned in your child’s Intent to Return form at this point your child will not be on a class list for next year. The 2014 SPAR reports are now available. The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) requires that school districts provide parents with an annual school status report, known as the School Public Accountability Reports (SPARs). To assist Florida school districts in preparing SPARs for their stakeholders, the Florida Department of Education (FDOE) has posted these reports containing data for the required indicators as well as the Annual Measurable Objectives (AMO) on the Web at http://doeweb-prd.doe.state.fl.us/eds/nclbspar/index.cfm
