  • Vote for Hunter

From October 15-October 29th one of our Mustangs, Hunter Worthman, is competing in the Ben’s Beginners Cooking Contest. This contest is sponsored by Uncle Ben’s and is a program to encourage children to make healthier choices by getting them interested in cooking at an early age. The contest was created to empower parents to connect with their children one meal at a time and aims to make cooking an enjoyable activity that brings families together. You may vote for Hunter by visiting www.unclebens.com or www.facebook/UncleBens to view and vote for their family’s video. People can simply visit the Ben’s Beginners Cooking Contest Section, enter the name of the recipe titled Dessert Fruit Sushi and click “Search Videos”. Once you find the family’s video, click the “Vote” button.

  • Big Toy Closed

With the excessive rain, a hole developed on our big toy playground. After testing it has been determined to be a storm drain issue. The District and the administration of Minneola Elementary Charter have been vigilant in working together to determine the nature of the hole, while maintaining the safety of our students. At this time, a determination is being made as to how best to repair the damaged storm drain. Any questions please contact Mrs. Watts.
