CAFETERIA
The lunchroom is a non-profit organization for the benefit of the students. Breakfast and lunch prices are set by the Lake County School Board and are posted in the cafeteria. Students may purchase the entire meal, a la carte items, or they may bring their lunch. No purchases or deliveries from outside vendors will be allowed.
Breakfast and lunch may be purchased each day or by the week. Advanced purchases must be made before school in the cafeteria. The price for a student breakfast is $1.25 and for lunch is $2.00.
Lunch Numbers will be assigned to new students within the first 3 days of attendance at a school site. Students will keep this number until they graduate or move out of the Lake County School district.
Applications for free and reduced lunches are included in your registration folder. Additional application forms may be obtained from the main office. NO APPLICATION WILL BE CONSIDERED UNTIL IT IS COMPLETELY FILLED OUT AND RETURNED WITH DOCUMENTATION OF INCOME. A completed application is necessary for EACH student in your family. You will be notified within ten (10) school days whether or not you qualify.
Cafeteria rules include the following:

Always walk to and from the cafeteria..

Arrive promptly and go directly to your table.

Wait for your table to be called to the lunch line.

Maintain an orderly manner and single file while in the lunch line.

Speak in quiet tones - no yelling or loud noises.

No glass bottles.

Do not change your table without permission.

Only eight students per table.

Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself.

Obtain permission and a pass to leave the cafeteria to use the rest room.

Lights out is a signal for absolute and immediate silence.

Before leaving the table, clean the area around you, including the floor. YOU are responsible for leaving the area clean.

Wait to be dismissed from your table or row.

Be courteous to all cafeteria and lunchroom staff.
Lunch may be delivered to the main office only by parent/guardian and for the particular student's lunch only. No outside vendors may deliver lunch to school nor group lunches brought to school. Parents may bring their student's lunch and eat with their student ONLY after checking in at the main office.
STUDENTS ARE TO REMAIN IN THE CAFETERIA UNTIL DISMISSED. STUDENTS ARE NOT TO BE IN HALLWAYS OR OTHER AREAS OR NEAR CLASSROOMS DURING LUNCHTIME WITHOUT A PASS. VIOLATORS MAY BE SUBJECT TO DISCIPLINARY ACTION.
