Dads and Doughnuts on Dec. 5 at Beverly Shores Elementary was a complete success with more than 125 dads, grandparents, uncles, male mentors and a few mothers in attendance.
The adults filled the school’s family resource center with an excitement to be with their children; to read with them and to connect; all while enjoying the delights of coffee, juice and doughnuts. Kathy Tatro, Principal at Beverly Shores Elementary, and Samuel Danner, Assistant Principal, were in attendance to express their gratitude to all of the parents that were there. Calvin Brown, In School Mentor, was also there to give a few words of wisdom.
Veronica Rovira, the newly hired Family School Liaison for Beverly Shores Elementary, coordinated the Dads and Doughnuts event.
