East Ridge High Knights begin search for head football coach

East Ridge High School is beginning the search to replace its head football coach.

Since the school opened its doors for the 2002-2003 school year, Luther O’Hara has been manning the sidelines as the Knights head football coach.

“We truly appreciate all of Coach O’Hara’s efforts and dedication to help build the Knights football program,” said Julie Robinson-Lueallen, Principal at East Ridge High School. “He remains a valuable teacher in our school’s efforts to ensure each student is college and career ready.”

The process to hire only the second football coach in East Ridge High’s history will not be taken lightly. Lueallen is forming a committee of stakeholders that includes school staff, booster club members and parents to vet viable candidates for the open position.
