  • SCHOOL MESSENGER UPDATE

Recorded telephone messages are one of many ways schools in Lake County help parents stay connected and informed.

Because of recent changes made to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, our vendor, SchoolMessenger, is requiring parent consent before any non-emergency phone messages can be delivered this school year. This includes messages regarding student attendance.

The first week of school, Lake students will be asked to take home a “SchoolMessenger Contact Information” form. A copy can be downloaded HERE. Parents are asked to promptly complete the form and return it to the school.

Emergency phone messages will continue to be delivered, regardless of parent consent.

Click Here for a Copy of the Consent Form in Spanish.
