  • EARLY RELEASE FORM AND SCHEDULE FOR LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL

    We will be running a modified schedule the last week of school this year: 5/21/19-5/24/19.  Our students have the option of being released early at 11:00am on 5/22/19, 5/23/19, and 5/24/19.  In order for a student to be released early at 11:00am on those days, they must return the signed Early Release Permission form no later than 5/17/19.  Any student who does not return a completed permission form must stay for the duration of the school day until 1:20pm on 5/22/19, 5/23/19, and 5/24/19.

  • SUMMER PERT AND ALGEBRA 1 EOC TESTING

    We will be offering PERT and Algebra 1 EOC testing during the week of July 15th-July 17th at South Lake High School.  Please click HERE to download the registration form.  Please complete this form and return it no later than June 22nd to participate in this testing.

  • COMMEMORATIVE ENGRAVED PAVERS

    The South Lake All Sports Boosters invites you to become a permanent part of South Lake High School by purchasing a commemorative engraved paver.

    The pavers will be installed in the area near the gymnasium and football field walkway. Purchasing a paver is an easy way to leave a lasting memory and at the same time proceeds will help pay for many needed items and repairs athletics needs such as scoreboards, baseball and softball fields, track equipment, a track, concessions, etc.

  • OFFICE DEPOT: GIVE BACK TO SCHOOLS PROGRAM

    Office Depot is running a Give Back to Schools program where they give back 5% of purchases on made on designated items to your school of choice.  If you make online or in-store purchases, please give them the South Lake High School ID#: 70021526.  Click HERE for more details.

  • NEW TRAFFIC FLOW

    Starting on Monday, August 13th, we will begin a new traffic flow for our parent drop-off/pick-up areas and student parking areas.  We will now have a single point of entry and exit for all car riders. 

    In the morning, Seniors and parents will enter through Gate 3 and Underclassmen will enter through Gate 4.  All cars will exit through Gate 4.

    In the afternoon, all cars will enter through Gate 3 and exit through Gate 4.

  • ATHLETIC PHYSICALS

    All students who are interested in playing a sport at South Lake High School must submit their physical packets online.  You may pick up the complete physical packet in the main office.  It must be a sports’ physical and it must be signed by a doctor and your parent or guardian.  Once the physical packet is completed, you must go online to https://athleticclearance.com/ to upload all of the appropriate documents.  This is the only way to turn in your physical.  You may not turn it in to a coach or the front office.  Please visit https://athleticclearance.com/ and create an account and complete the steps.  For directions on how to complete the steps, please visit https://www.lake.k12.fl.us/domain/3533.  All athletes must complete this process before they can work out or practice with a team.

  • INFORMATION REGARDING CLASS DUES

    Senior Class: $25.  Includes senior privileges and a class shirt.  Dues go to senior BBQ and graduation ceremony. All remaining money will be spent on class gift to the school.  Dues can be be paid to Ms. Gomilla in room 214.

    Junior Class: $20.  Dues go to Prom (deposit on the location, food, DJ, decorations).  Dues can be be paid to Ms. Ramirez in room 221.

    Sophomore Class: $15.  Dues can be be paid to Ms. Stacks in room 115 (Flight Academy).

    Freshman Class: $10.  Dues can be be paid to Ms. Brown in room 114 (Flight Academy).

  • VISITOR MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

    All visitors will be asked to display their valid state-issued ID to the front office when they check-in, on their initial visit, which will be entered into our Raptor Visitor Management System.  All visitors will also be asked to check-out in the front office when they exit campus.  Please click HERE for more information.

  • FREE OFFICE 365 FOR STUDENTS

    Each student on our campus has a free Office 365, which entitles them to a copy of the Microsoft Office Software.  Please follow these instructions to install Microsoft Office onto personal devices:

    1.) Click HERE and log-on with your school e-mail account and password. 

            a.) E-mail Address: LastName.FirstName@student.lake.k12.fl.us

                        *(Last name up to 10 characters, First name up to 6)

            b.) Password: Student ID Number

    2.) Browse the homescreen until you see the tiles "Mail", "Calendar", "People", etc. 

    3.) Below the tiles is the link "Install Office On More Devices", click the "Install" link under that. 

    4.) You can then choose from the available software options: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.  Simply click the "Install" box at the bottom.
