    Lake County Virtual School offers access to high quality, technology-based education. Lake County Virtual courses may be used to satisfy graduation requirements, make up credit, or accelerate a program of study.

    Students receive individualized instruction utilizing the internet, e-mail, telephone, instant messaging, online collaboration, and face-to-face teacher forums. The online format allows flexibility of time, and location while promoting the skills, attitude and self discipline necessary to succeed in the 21st century.  Lake County Virtual School provides a rigorous curriculum that will prepare every student for college and career.

    All students and parents of students considering enrolling in Lake County Virtual should read the Lake County Virtual School Curriculum Guide and Handbook that can be accessed here . Valuable information including enrollment requirements, requirements to remain enrolled, a typical day in virtual school and other vital information is included.  Parents and students will have to attend an orientation meeting along with signing the student/parent acknowledgment form as a requirement of enrollment.

    In the coming weeks our full-time students will be taking the LSA assessments. The LSA’s will be completed at home, online on January 22nd, 23rd, 24th, and 25th.

    This year LCVS students will complete LSA’s by logging into “my portal” at home.

    Below you will find the instructions for the process students will complete LSA assessment this school year.

    Please see the instructions below that students must take in order to log-in and attempt the LSA's:

    Use the Chrome or Edge browser – not Internet Explorer!!!! Log onto MyPortal:

    User name:  lastname.firstname  Password (if they have not changed it in the past): student ID number

    Search for the Performance Matters Tile

    When/if they have a test to take it will show.  They then click on it and start the test.

    In the event that any student needs help loging in, please contact your subject area teacher for assistance. You can also contact Mr. King for help at 352-483-4263

    Math- 1-22-19 (9 AM to 11 AM or 5 PM to 7 PM)- 6th Grade Math- 7th Grade Math- 8th Grade Math- Algebra 1- Geometry- Algebra 2

    Science- 1-23-19 ( 9 AM to 11 AM or 5 PM to 7 PM)- 8th Grade Science - Biology

    Social Studies- 1-24-19 ( 9 AM to 11 AM or 5 PM to 7 PM) - 7th Grade Civics U.S. History (High School only)

    Language Arts- 1-25-19 ( 9 AM to 11 AM or 5 PM to 7 PM) - 6th Grade Language Arts- 7th Grade Language Arts-8th Grade Language Arts-English 1- English 2

    If you are enrolling with LCVS and have completed the orientation and approval process, please access the 2018-2019 Student Code of Conduct with this link:

    All LCVS students (new and returning) need to review the Code of Conduct and complete the the 3 Forms located within this link:

    Please print and sign the following forms found within the link above:

    • Student Acknowledgement Form
    • Digital Notification Form
    • Parent Opt-Out Notifications Form

    Once completed and signed, please fax (352-483-4261), email (, or mail (200 W. Golf Links Ave., Eustis FL., 32726) these 4 important documents to the LCVS Main Office.
