Thanks and let's have a great year!
    A little bit about me:

Although I was born in Saudi Arabia, I grew up in Nashua, New Hampshire and lived there until I moved to Clermont, Florida in July of 2003.  I decided to make the move in order to be closer to my family. I have been teaching for 15 years although I worked in the classroom as a Paraprofessional for several years while going to school at night. After receiving my teaching degree from Notre Dame College in Manchester, New Hampshire in 2000 I started teaching at Nashua High School and worked there until I moved. Once I moved to Florida, I began teaching at Oak Park Middle School until 2007 when I began my career at Minneola Elementary Charter. In the 15 years that I have been teaching, I have taught every grade level from kindergarten to 12th grade in all areas of special education including Intensive Needs, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Inclusion.

I am currently attending the University of Central Florida as a Project Bridges Scholar working on my Masters in Special Education and Graduate Certificate as an Intervention Specialist. I enjoy traveling and have been to Kuwait, London, Hawaii and California just to name a few.  I am a fan of Disney and in my free time enjoy going to the theme parks with my friends and family.

    Florida State Certification:

    Elementary Education K-6

    Special Education K-12

    ESOL endorsement
