    TUFF Kids
    T.U.F.F. Kids
    Teaching Us Fitness is Fun (T.U.F.F.) is a 6 week program targeting kids in grades 3-5 in their after school care programs at their elementary schools. TUFF kids focuses on fitness and healthy meal choices. Students participate in fun physical activities and help create healthy snacks.

    Health and Safety Goals and Guidelines:

    New Anti-Bullying Law
    A new law was signed by Governor Crist on June 10, 2008. The law is called the Jeffrey Johnston Stand Up for all Students Act.

    Patricia Jemison-Martin of East Ridge High School helps to maintain an environment free of tobacco by participating in American Lung Association Not On Tobacco (N-O-T) program smoking cessation program.

    Monitoring & Evaluation

    The Lake County Schools Wellness/ School Heath Advisory Committee (SHAC) meets quarterly to discuss and review wellness policy.
