Annual Comprehensive Facility Inspections
All school buildings are inspected each fiscal school year by a certified fire safety inspector in compliance with Section 633.081, Florida Statutes.
The State Requirements for Educational Facilities mandates that all school board facilities, both owned and leased, be inspected annually to insure they meet minimum requirements for fire safety, casualty safety and sanitation standards.
Districts are required to document completion of all Annual Comprehensive Facility Inspections on the The Division of State Fire Marshal's "Public School Fire Safety Report System".
To view inspections and obtain contact information for questions and full copies of fire safety inspection reports, click the State Fire Marshall link, below, or visit the Florida Division of State Fire Marshal website. All reports completed on or after July 1, 2011 are available.
