The Lake County Schools logo was redesigned in 2017 as part of a district-wide rebranding with the arrival of our new superintendent, Diane Kornegay. To reflect our new direction, leadership and energized commitment, a committee of LCS employees worked with a communications consultant to develop the logo designs. Each one depicts the beauty of Lake County with suggestions of sunshine and sparkling lakes, along with an open book to represent our laser focus on academic achievement. The yellow symbolizes our positivity and optimism, while the dark blue represents our confidence and stability.
This logo set is part of our district identity and should not be significantly altered in color, wording or design. Please see our SPEC SHEET for details on the specific colors in the logo, approved variations of the design, and the appropriate fonts.
