Meal Prices and Information

We are pleased to inform you that the Lake County School Board will once again be participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs called the

Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for School Year 2019-2020.

Schools that participate in the CEP are able to provide a healthy breakfast and lunch at NO CHARGE for ALL students enrolled in a CEP school during the 2019-2020 School Year.

A la carte items will still be available for purchase.

MEAL ACCOUNTS & LUNCH NUMBERS:  See Board policy #8.411

PREPAYMENTS:  School meals can be prepaid at any time during the school year. We accept cash or checks at the school cafeteria.  The prepayment will be placed in an account for your student(s). Student(s) can access their account by using their lunch number at the register to purchase meals or ala carte. When sending in a prepayment, you must supply the student's student ID (located on report cards) number in order to credit the correct account. 

ONLINE MEAL PRE-PAYMENTS:  We currently provide https://www.myschoolbucks.com Opens a New Window.  as an on-line payment website for Lake County Schools.  Select the On-line Meal Prepayment link on the left for more information.  When requesting a refund or transfer of funds, select the Refund/Transfer Request form and submit to the Food Services Department.  

FOOD ALLERGIES:  Notify the school office/nurse and the cafeteria manager at your school site for any of your student(s) FOOD ALLERGIES.  Any allergies or special needs requiring substitutions to the regular school meal will require the "Student Food Allergy Form" to be completed and turned in to your School Site (located on the left).

ALA CART ITEMS - Many of our schools provide extra ala carte items such as ice cream, baked chips and many specialty items.  These items range in price from $.25 to $2.50 and are not included in the free & reduced price program.  If Parents/Guardians do not wish to allow their student(s) to purchase these items from their meal account, they may contact their student(s) cafeteria manager.

MENUS - Breakfast and Lunch Menus will be provided to all elementary school student(s) on a monthly basis. All menus are available on the MENUS link to the left.
