Family Empowerment Scholarship

The Family Empowerment Scholarship was established during the 2019 Legislative Session to enhance Florida’s menu of education options for students whose families have limited financial resources. The scholarship program Educational Options provides eligible students a scholarship to attend a private school, or transportation to a Florida public school that is different from the school the student was assigned. This year, the scholarship was expanded to include students with Unique Abilities.
