Research Requests

Lake County Schools collaborates with colleges, universities, and other agencies to support research studies that are aligned to LCS strategic priority goals and focus areas. Research requests are reviewed by the department of Accountability & Assessment. The process is aligned with Title 34, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 97 and Title 45, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 46.   

The application to conduct research in Lake County Schools may be accessed below. Additionally, research applicants should review the research criteria and the common reasons for rejection.

 

 

Once the application is submitted, applicants will receive an e-mail confirmation that the application is in the review process. You will be contacted once the review is complete. The application process may take anywhere from 6-8 weeks. however, review times could take longer during State Accountability and State Assessment windows throughout the year.
