Federal Programs Department's  goal is to promote second language acquisition and academic achievement for English Language Learners (ELLs). With more than 75 languages spoken within the county, our ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) support program promotes cultural awareness, community involvement and quality services through the use of best practices for English Language Learners.

We strive to provide support to students, families, personnel, teachers, and administrators of Lake County Schools in order to increase ELL student achievement and parent involvement.
