2023-2024 VPK On-Line Application will be available at 9 am on March 20, 2023 for registration.
Below are a few notes to try to make the process go as smoothly as possible. If you have any concerns, be sure to read these before beginning the application process.
Before we move any further, however, we want to make sure that all parents who have "young" 4 year olds and you're not sure they're ready for school but you don't want to miss out on the VPK Program, please read the following information regarding some legislation that will allow you to delay VPK enrollment one year based on your student's date of birth.
A new law extends VPK eligibility for 4 year-olds with birthdays from February 2 through September 1 in a calendar year. Parents can enroll their child in the state’s free, voluntary prekindergarten (VPK) education program that year OR wait until the following year when their child is 5.
Parents, now is the time for you to make that decision. Once your child begins the program (even if it is one day), they must abide by the attendance policy and are allowed to delay their start until the next year.
