Student Mental and Emotional Health Instruction Grades 6-12

Lesson 1
An introductory lesson on Mental Health and Suicide Prevention followed by a student google questionnaire. Students will have an opportunity to meet with a mental health professional if they choose. 

Lesson 2
A lesson on drug and alcohol prevention from Florida Department of Education's The Facts. Your Future campaign. 

Lessons 3-6
Four lessons on managing stress and anxiety using video clips and other resources from the movie, Angst.  Video clips and other resources are embedded in the Mental and Emotional Health Education District Slide Presentation.  All constituents may access the full documentary and video clips on the LCS Mental Health Services Educator Dashboard.  The movie trailer for Angst can also be found on the dashboard.

Lesson 7
A final lesson on Human Trafficking and Student Safety associated with the Florida Department of Education's FLDOE Human Trafficking Website.  At the end of Session 7 students will complete another google feedback questionnaire and have another opportunity to meet with a mental health professional if they choose.
