• Dear Parents,

I am very excited to be your child’s Exceptional Education Varying Exceptionalities Teacher (ESE/VE) this school year.  As your child’s ESE/VE Teacher, I will provide support and assistance so that he/she can have a positive and successful learning experience.  My focus will be growing each student to not only meet, but exceed each of his/her individual learning goals and benchmarks.  I work with the classroom teachers to help students understand lessons taught in the classrooms, encourage completion of assignments, provide testing support, and other necessary accommodations to aid in the learning process.  I focus on Reading proficiency, foundational Math skills, and social skill development throughout the entire school year.

I have had the privilege of teaching at CRES for 7 years.  I have also been an ESE teacher at United Cerebral Palsy, as well as a Director at a Private Preschool.   On a personal note, I am the proud mom of two awesome kids.  They are both in high school now but are former Ospreys!  Our family loves CRES.

I look forward to working alongside your child this year, as well as collaborating with you.  I respect and value your perspective and input.  As parents, you play a very important part of your child’s school success.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns throughout the school year.  I am happy to support and assist your child and family in any way that I can.

    Sincerely,

    Dana Frey

    ESE/VE Teacher
