Villages Elementary of Lady Lake Chorus

    What is Chorus?

Villages Elementary Chorus is an extracurricular performance-based club open to 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students.

    When are the meetings?

The chorus rehearses every Tuesday and Thursday morning before school in the music room. Doors open at 7:15 AM and rehearsal begins at 7:25AM.  Parents must sign in students at the music room. First rehearsal of this school year will be Tuesday, August 22.

    Does the chorus perform?

The chorus performs for school and community events, for Villages clubs and on many other occasions. Performances are typically given in the early evening or on Saturdays. Occasional school day field trips may be offered.

    How much does it cost?

Chorus membership is free. The support of the community and the fundraising efforts of our chorus parents have allowed us to cover all transportation and materials costs every year since the school opened.

    Is there a uniform?

Chorus members wear the navy chorus t-shirt, khaki pants and black shoes for performances only.

    Is there an audition?

No audition is required for membership. All children can be taught to sing, just as they can learn to read and multiply.

    How do I sign up?

Just show up! Be sure to turn in all necessary paperwork.
