    Physical Education classes are developed to teach students gross and small motor skills through different sports and large group games. Drills are used to help student achieve a certain skill. Sportsmanship and fitness are taught during class to help each student have a well-rounded education.
     
    Family Walk Night

    WELCOME TO FAMILY WALK NIGHT

    EACH MONTH WE WILL MEET AT THE WATERFRONT PARK TO WALK ON THE TRAIL.

    WE WILL WALK APPROXIMATLEY 1 MILE TO BEGIN WITH AND ADD A QUARTER MILE EACH MONTH.

    EACH STUDENT MUST BRING A PARENT(S) OR AN ADULT TO WALK WITH THEM. WE ENCOURAGE ALL STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES TO PARTICIPATE IN THE HEALTHY FITNESS WALK. PLEASE KEEP YOUR CHILD (REN) WITH YOU AS YOU WALK FOR SAFETY PURPOSES.

    MEET AT THE WATERFRONT PARKING LOT BY THE EAST AVENUE ENTRANCE.

    PLEASE NO ANIMALS DUE TO POSSIBILITY OF STUDENT ALLERGIC RECATION, NO BIKES, OR SCOOTERS.

    FAMILY WALK NIGHT IS EVERY THIRD THURSDAY OF THE MONTH  STARTING AT 5:30 (4:30 WHEN DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME IS IN EFFECT)

    Everyone student/parent(s) must sign in.

    PARENTS WILL RECEIVE 1 HOUR OF VOLUNTEER TIME.

    EACH CYPRESS RIDGE STUDENT THAT PARTICIPATES IN THE WALK WILL RECEIVE A CHARM AND CHAIN FOR THEIR BACKPACK. EACH STUDENT WILL RECEIVE A FOOT CHARM TO ADD TO THEIR CHAIN WITH PARTICIPATION OF EACH ADDITIONAL FAMILY WALK NIGHT.
