• Mrs. Burkhead

    Dear Sorrento Families,

For those of you that do not know me, please allow me to introduce myself. I am Mrs. Burkhead, known around the Den as Mamma Wolf. I am thrilled to be the leader of this “Destination School” in such a wonderful community.

As a product of Lake County Schools, being a part of a local school community is important to me. I began in our county as an elementary student and have worked for the district for thirty years, including the last twelve years as an administrator. My passion is for education and making certain that every student is successful, both academically and emotionally. Please know the decisions I make will be in the best interest of your children, to ensure their success. I can only do this with your help. It takes all of us, working together with a common goal, to guarantee our students are college and career ready.

I look forward to our continued work together and hope to build relationships that help strengthen the Wolfpack.

I know, as a team, we will make Sorrento Elementary the number one school in the District!

    We are – One Pack!!!

    Respectfully,

    Brenna Burkhead
