    Dear Students and families,
     
         Welcome!  Let me introduce my self. I am Sara Anne Tempesta. Before I moved to the Clermont area, my teaching experience includes teaching self contained middle school students in 2011-2012, the next year, 2012-2013 I was an inclusion teacher for 4th grade in Hernando County. In 2013-2014, I came to Lake county and started teaching kindergarten here at Minneola Elementary School. This is my sixth year at Minneola. I have taught Kindergarten, Second grade and ESE inclusion.  In my careers I have sold real estate for five years and I was a case manager for abused and neglected children for thirteen years.
         In 1993 I obtained my Bachelors of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida.   Originally, I am from a small town in Citrus County, Inverness, Fl. I grew up there as did my parents and grandparents.  My grandmother was a teacher  at Citrus High School, where she taught  Hampton Dunn, the author of "Back Home" and some other books about Florida .  I have been living in the Clermont area for a seven years with my husband and stepsons.
