The boys soccer team faced 2 of their toughest challenges last week and had their first official game together. We faced off with Seabreeze at their house in Ormond beach on Tuesday and although we played well, the teams chemistry was not there yet and we were unable to produce many goals and took a rough 5-1 loss with our only goal being scored by Michael Kempany off a penalty kick. On Thursday we faced off with the #2 team in central FL, Olympia. The Eagles played a FANTASTIC game and kept the number 2 team to only 3 goals. Although the team lost 3-0, they were able to find some chemistry and rhythm against a tough opponent.

Lady Eagles looked sharp the first fifteen minutes and took on some pressure from Tavares Bulldogs. The physical nature of the game took a toll on the Lady Eagles causing them to pick up injuries and yellow cards. It wasn't until the 2nd half the Lady Eagles settled down and started moving the ball around. The young players got in and got some playing experience. We now prepare for our game Thursday against Eustis Panthers.
