Neglected and Delinquent (N&D)

Title I Part D, Subpart 2 is funded through an annual Federal Entitlement Grant.  Lake County Schools uses Title I Part D funds to support identified students who are neglected, delinquent or at risk.

Program Goals are to:

·       Supplement educational services by providing neglected and delinquent youth with the same educational opportunities needed to meet challenging State academic content and achievement standards.

·       Provide these neglected and delinquent youth with services to successfully transition from institutionalization to further schooling or employment.

·       Prevent at-risk youth from dropping out of school, and to provide youth with support services to ensure their continued education.
