A listing of the required components for various endorsements are provided below; refer to the indicated link for additional details. Please refer to True North Logic. (TNL) as to the availability of the listed component courses. 

Athletic Coaching
The Florida Department of Education requires 180 hours or nine (9) semester hours for an endorsement in Athletic Coaching.

Gifted

Gifted add-on endorsement classes are offered through the Staff Development and ESE departments. Teachers may take up to three courses a year - one in the fall semester, one in the second semester, and a week-long course during the summer. There is no cost to participants.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Endorsement

Reading 

K-12 Teachers who provide intensive tier 3 reading interventions, interventions to students with a reading IEP, have students who have been identified with a substantial deficiency in reading on the FSA or i-Ready, or have students in their second year of 3rd grade (core and intensive instruction) will be required to attain a reading endorsement by fall 2020.  At that time, teachers will be considered out-of-field.  Teachers are able to provide instruction to all students, but will need to work towards meeting endorsement requirements within three years by taking a minimum of two competencies per year.
