We are excitedly preparing voluntary summer online learning opportunities for students! Using their school assigned Chromebooks, which students will be allowed to keep over summer, they will have access to a variety of activities from learning how to code and program to exploring careers!
Students in Grades 5 or 8 are required to turn in their Chromebooks, but shortly afterward they will be able to pick up a Chromebook from the school they are assigned to attend next year. When the new school year starts, students will bring their Chromebooks on the first day to check them in.
Students must remember to keep the Chromebooks in good condition. Any damage or loss of the device over the summer will result in a fee when students return to school.
Seniors and students who are withdrawing from Lake County Schools will turn in their Chromebooks at the school they last attended.
