New COVID-19 Data Dashboard 2021-22 (Week 3 through June 30, 2022)

Because the Florida Department of Health in Lake will be conducting all contact tracing beginning July 1, 2022, Lake County Schools will not have access to the data needed to continue updating our COVID dashboard beyond June 30, 2022. For information, please contact the DOH in Lake.

Summary Report of COVID-19 Cases 2021-22 (Week 2 through Week 5)

As cases began to surge in Week 2, it became apparent that new systems would need to be established to keep up with the increasing volume of daily line lists and related reporting to the Florida Department of Health (DOH) in Lake County. With administrative support personnel added to help keep up with the daily cases, the information from the school to the district and then to DOH gave room for duplication in the cases reported and other inaccuracies. To ensure the accuracy of the cases reported in Weeks 2-5, district staff worked with school principals to provide the attached summary report to the School Board and to the public on Sept. 8, showing the actual cases reported by each school for Weeks 2-3 and Weeks 3-4.  Please note, the dashboard data for Weeks 2-5 will not match the summary report. The district has acknowledged the discrepancies and developed new systems and a new dashboard to ensure the data is accurate moving forward. (Click link above to see data.)
