Superintendent's Student Advisory Committee

It is the desire of the School Board to reach out to students and receive timely and thoughtful input from them on matters of interest. To that end, the School Board established the Superintendent's Student Advisory Committee (SSAC) in 2021. Once a month, from August through May,  a representative from the SSAC will attend a regularly scheduled School Board meeting to provide a summary of the SSAC's most recent meeting, including the meeting agenda and meeting minutes. The purpose of the SSAC is to increase communication between the students, superintendent and the School Board resulting in a better learning environment for all students in Lake County.
