Internal Audit Plans
This section posts the Internal Audit Plan for the current fiscal year and past fiscal years for Lake County Schools. Each Internal Audit Plan is reviewed and accepted by the Audit Committee prior to approval by the School Board. The Internal Audit Plan for fiscal year 2020/2021 is the seventh year the Internal Audit Plan has been under the direction of the current Director of Internal Audit for the School District. The Internal Audit Plan for FYE 2021, was developed by reviewing the extensive Risk Assessment assembled in 2019/2020, meetings with the Assistant Superintendent Business Services, individual meeting with each School Board member to incorporate their insights and a School Board Workshop to gather any last input from the full School Board. The outcome from all inputs and discussions was the Internal Audit Plan for Fiscal Year End (FYE) 2021.
