    Project Graduation is in need of parent volunteers! The next meeting will be Monday, February 25th at 6pm in the MDHS Media Center. Please see the Project Graduation Page for more detailed information as well as the donation letter.

     

    Attendance: In accordance with district policy, no one with more than 10% absences (18 days) for the school year will be permitted to walk at Graduation.

    Cap and Gown: If you need a packet, see Ms. Lannon. Orders need to be completed before February 5, 2019. Orders placed after 2/5/19 will be an additional $10 and orders placed after 3/1/19 will be an additional $20. You may also order online: http://www.balfourfl.com

     
    Class shirts are on sale for $10. Please see Ms. Scott in the front office.
     
     
    Graduation 2019
    Graduation date: Thursday, May 16, 2019
    Venue: Real Life Clermont -1501 Steve's Rd, Clermont, FL 34711
    Time: 7pm 
    * As Real Life is not charging a fee for the use of the facility, we ask that all families bring a few cans of non-perishable food items to the ceremony. In addition, Seniors will host a food drive leading up to graduation as a class project.
     
    Other Information:
    EACH STUDENT GETS 8 TICKETS!        
    They can ask friends if they need extra tickets       
    Children under 2 admitted without a ticket      
    No Strollers or Baby carriers      
    Yes, there is a handicapped section. A maximum of 4 people may sit with the handicapped individual.
     
    BOYS:   Long pants (dark colored); Dress shirt with a collar; tie or bowtie; dress shoes (no sandals, flipflops, crocs, or sneakers)
     
    GIRLS: Any dress, capris or dress pants; dress shoes or dress sandals (may be low heels or flats)
     
    Graduation Breakfast: 6:30 in the cafe on Thursday, May 2nd

    Grad Bash: April 6, 2019 (Saturday)
    Time: 5pm - 3am
    Location: Universal
    Tickets are $100 and are on sale. Our deadline was extended one month, so make sure you have purchased your ticket by March 8th. We have 2 coach buses which will hold 100 students so reserve your spot early! You may purchase your ticket online through the link on the MDHS home page or see Ms. Scott if you have cash or check.
     
      
    Debt List: You need to make sure you have a zero balance. If you have a middle school fine, you need to go to that school and pay it. You cannot participate in the homecoming dance, prom, grad bash, or get your diploma if you have fines! See the librarian, Dr. Carlton, if you have any questions.
      
    Yearbooks: See Ms. Smith for questions regarding yearbooks. The online site is yearbookforever.com

    Baccalaureate: Monday, May 13th at the First Baptist Church of Mount Dora. We will be starting at 6pm.
