Tavares High cross country girls rank 5th in state, tops among public schools

 

Congratulations to the Tavares High Cross Country girls and their coach Mr. Wall. The girls placed 5th at the recent State Championship meet in Tallahassee. This meet capped off a historic season for the Lady Bulldogs, who finished the greatest season in the history of Tavares High School! The girls were led by Savannah Schwab, Cassandra Montalvo, Chablis Shreffler, Payton Brown, Emily Burris, Baylee Tramel and Kaycie Whitaker. The future is bright for this young team, who only graduates one senior, Payton Brown. After the final rankings were completed, the Lady Bulldogs are ranked as the 5th best team in the state, and the Number 1 ranked public school in Cross Country.
