Special event for LCS teachers


The Innovative Learning Department is pleased to present a new and innovative style of professional development, June 16-17, 2016 #ILCON16 The event is free and open to all Lake County teachers, and it is from 8:30 AM to 4 PM for each day June 16-17 at Lake Minneola High School. Teachers will receive MIP points for attending, and there are numerous topics offered for all levels of technology users.

This conference-style event will feature keynote speakers, technology showcases, training sessions, and Personalized Learning connections. After attending the morning showcase, teachers will choose from multiple sessions categorized into strands including: Collaboration, Technology Basics, Formative Assessments, Inside Lake County Schools Technology, and many more. Come learn how Lake County teachers use technology to make learning engaging for students and leave with great ideas for your classroom.

Do I have to bring technology to the conference?

You are encouraged to bring your laptops, iPads, or other devices issued by Lake County Schools. While it is not required to bring a device, teachers that have checked out a device for the summer will be able to create content during the training sessions specific to their curriculum.
