District to open fourth employee health and wellness center
Lake County Schools are proud to announce the opening of our fourth Health and
ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25.
788 E. Highland Ave. in Clermont Central, the new center joins our others in
Eustis, Leesburg and Clermont North in inspiring employees and families to
achieve well-being and health through innovative, quality, cost-effective
healthcare solutions. The new center will seek to meet the needs of the growing
population in south Lake.
are operated by CareHere, a partner with the district since 2011, and are
available to Lake County Schools (LCS) employees and their dependents (12 and
older) who are covered on a LCS health insurance plan. With no co-pay or
deductible, they offer services such as:
care visits (ear infections, strep throat, etc.)
and x-ray services
mediations – on-site dispensary with over 200 medications routinely stocked (no
narcotics on site)
and pulmonary function tests
health and stress management
The center will begin scheduling patients for
service on Aug. 26.
