Khan Academy, College Board Challenge helps students and local libraries

Lake County students are invited to participate in a challenge that will help improve their academic skills while helping local libraries win new laptop computers for student use.

All they have to do is “Get Connected” on Jan. 18.

Here’s how it works.

Students who took the PSAT/NMSQT in October, received their scores in December. If they connect their PSAT/NMSQT results to Khan Academy on Jan. 18, they will have access to a free, customized SAT practice plan. Also, by connecting their accounts on Jan. 18, they can help our district win a prize. The top three districts with the highest percentage of 2016 PSAT/NMSQT takers who connected their College Board and Khan Academy accounts on Jan. 18 will receive laptops for their local libraries.

So urge your students to mark their calendars for Jan. 18 and then get connected. They can help Lake County libraries, while they help themselves!
