Eustis Elementary students collect 2,700 books for homeless shelters

Students at Eustis Elementary School recently wrapped up their month-long project to "Change Our World." The goal was for students to donate new and gently used books for a homeless shelter. Students donated more than 2,700 books that are now destined for two local shelters. The girls competed against the boys to see who could bring in the most. The girls, pictured above, won the contest and celebrated with an ice cream party. The real winners are the shelter residents who will benefit from the books the students collected. Job well done, Eustis Elementary!
