Mount Dora High hosts farm-to-table dinner fundraiser
This spring, plan an exciting evening at the beautiful Stanley Pond Adventure Farm and enjoy a unique sit-down dinner in the barn. The dinner is a family friendly fundraiser hosted by Mount Dora High School students enrolled in either the Culinary Arts or Architectural Drafting program.
Throughout the spring semester, the Architectural Drafting students have been designing restaurants with a farm to table décor theme in the hopes of publicly displaying 11 design teams’ drawings in the barn during the event. The Culinary Arts students have planned the menu and will be using locally grown fruits and vegetables to prepare your four course dinner.
The 12th Annual Gala Farm-to-Table Dinner will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27. Tickets must be purchased in advance for $35.00 per person.
In addition to the dinner, guests can enjoy a multitude of other fun activities including barn yard ball, tricycle races, super slide, hay ride and farm tour. If at the end of the evening you’d like to take a piece of the farm home with you, feel free to place an order for Stanley Farm’s freshly picked sunflowers.
Our programs have been working hard to bring this event to life and look forward to seeing you across the dining table this spring!
