NEW TRAFFIC FLOW
Starting on Monday, August 13th, we will begin a new traffic flow for our parent drop-off/pick-up areas and student parking areas. We will now have a single point of entry and exit for all car riders.
In the morning, Seniors and parents will enter through Gate 3 and Underclassmen will enter through Gate 4. All cars will exit through Gate 4.
In the afternoon, all cars will enter through Gate 3 and exit through Gate 4.
STUDENT ATHLETIC PASSES
Student athletic passes are on sale for $25. These passes will get you in to all regular season athletic events, including football games. Passes will be sold during lunch. Don’t miss out on this great deal!
All students who are interested in playing a sport at South Lake High School must submit their physical packets online. You may pick up the complete physical packet in the main office. It must be a sports’ physical and it must be signed by a doctor and your parent or guardian. Once the physical packet is completed, you must go online to https://athleticclearance.com/ to upload all of the appropriate documents. This is the only way to turn in your physical. You may not turn it in to a coach or the front office. Please visit https://athleticclearance.com/ and create an account and complete the steps. For directions on how to complete the steps, please visit https://www.lake.k12.fl.us/domain/3533. All athletes must complete this process before they can work out or practice with a team.
STUDENT PARKING INFORMATION
Please click HERE to view the Student Parking Application, Senior Parking Spot Painting Guidelines, and other important information regarding student parking. The Student Parking Application form must be completed and turned in to the main office prior to any student parking their vehicle at SLHS.
Parking is on sale prior to school starting on 7/25 and 8/1 from 8:00am-12:00pm. Parking will also be sold during lunches during the 1st week of school.
Senior Parking Spot Painting will take place on 8/4 and 8/18 from 8:00am-12:00pm.

SENIOR PHOTO INFORMATION
Senior photos will need to be scheduled through Cady Studios. You can schedule your session online (cadystudios.com) or by calling customer service (1-800-547-6237). Students are encouraged to schedule a session over the summer at their studio. There will be limited availability at the sessions scheduled at the school road shoots.
There is a $30 sitting fee for Senior Photos. Please pay online, bring check/money order, or exact cash. Photographers will not have any change on them. The last day to pick your pose for the yearbook will be September 30, 2018 The last day to be photographed for the yearbook will be October 30, 2018. INFORMATION REGARDING CLASS DUES
Senior Class: $25, includes senior privileges and a class shirt. Dues go to senior BBQ and graduation ceremony. All remaining money will be spent on class gift to the school. Dues can be be paid to Ms. Gomilla in room 214.
Junior Class: $20, dues go to Prom (deposit on the location, food, DJ, decorations). Dues can be be paid to Ms. Ramirez in room 221.
Sophomore Class: $15, includes a class of 2021 shirt. Dues can be be paid to Ms. Stacks in room 115 (Flight Academy).
Freshman Class: $10, includes Class of 2022 shirt. Dues can be be paid to Ms. Brown in room 114 (Flight Academy).
VISITOR MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
All visitors will be asked to display their valid state-issued ID to the front office when they check-in, on their initial visit, which will be entered into our Raptor Visitor Management System. All visitors will also be asked to check-out in the front office when they exit campus. Please click HERE for more information.
FREE OFFICE 365 FOR STUDENTS
Each student on our campus has a free Office 365, which entitles them to a copy of the Microsoft Office Software. Please follow these instructions to install Microsoft Office onto personal devices:
1.) Click HERE and log-on with your school e-mail account and password.
a.) E-mail Address: LastName.FirstName@student.lake.k12.fl.us
*(Last name up to 10 characters, First name up to 6)
b.) Password: Student ID Number
2.) Browse the homescreen until you see the tiles "Mail", "Calendar", "People", etc.
3.) Below the tiles is the link "Install Office On More Devices", click the "Install" link under that.
4.) You can then choose from the available software options: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Simply click the "Install" box at the bottom.
