Testing season is almost here and WE ARE READY! This week we had Secret Spirit Week for our staff and they dressed like students today. We also had Test Fest Olympics where students competed for a medal followed by academic Bingo. Everyone showed what they knew and had a blast!

On Thursday, students in Civics demonstrated their understanding of systems of government by using Play-doh, toothpicks, and pipe cleaners to model what the 3 systems of government would like. Students had to correctly shape the Play-doh to demonstrate who had the most power and used the pipe cleaners to show which direction power flowed. They had a blast using their creativity to demonstrate their learning!

The Con is a totally student led play that has been created by our talented Gators. Well done!

Today we celebrated some of our Gators for being nominated for Gator of the Month. Congratulations!

Our World History students participated in an interactive activity along with our culinary department to prepare and taste food that was commonly served during the reign of Genghis Khan during the Mongolian times. This was all made possible thanks to a creative idea from one of our World History teachers, Mr. Mackall, and a generous grant from the Education Foundation of Lake County. This experience allowed our students to make connections on a deep level. Thank you to all who made this experience possible! Go Gators!
