Mrs. McDonald’s class took a special “on campus” field trip to visit Mrs. Vandergriff’s room… and guess what they found? Baby chicks! Her class just wrapped up their unit on Chickens and Eggs, so getting to meet these 5 fluffy little friends was the perfect way to bring their learning to life! Thank you, Mrs. Vandergriff, for letting Mrs. McDonald's Pre-K class have this hands-on (and heartwarming) experience! Peep, peep… it was an egg-cellent day! 🐣🐥❤️

Mrs. McDonald’s PreK Celebrates Earth Day! 🌎 ❤️🐾 Our young learners had an exciting day full of Earth Day fun and learning! With help from Ms. Kramer, we created our very own miniature light-up Earths—such a bright way to show love for our planet! We also had the incredible opportunity to video chat with Marine Biologist and Environmental Biologist Melinda McDonald, all the way from Orange Beach, Alabama. She taught us the importance of “leaving only footprints” and taking care of our beaches and oceans. Our PreK students asked thoughtful questions and showed so much curiosity—what a wonderful way to celebrate Earth Day!🌎 ❤️🐾

📦 Time to Turn Them In! Chromebook Collection is Coming! The end of the school year is right around the corner, and it’s time to get those Chromebooks ready for return. Here’s what you need to know to make the process quick and smooth: ✅ What to Do Before You Turn In Your Device Remove all stickers and decorations ➤ Don’t forget to clean off any sticky residue! ➤ A safe way to clean: use a slightly damp cloth (water only) — no chemicals or sprays! ➤ Check that your device is fully charged (100%) ➤ Turn in your charger ➤ Must include both parts: the brick and the cable! ➤ Report damage early ➤ If your device isn’t working or is damaged, turn it in now — don’t wait for collection day! ➤ Ask questions? ➤ See your school’s Media Specialist for help.

What a show-stopping night at our Spring Showcase! Our talented students wowed the crowd with incredible performances from: Bullpup Cheerleaders, Jammin’ Bullpup Instrument Club, Bullpup Chorus, and the Drama Club’s magical performance of Cinderella, If the Shoe Fits! A huge shoutout to Mrs. Taylor for leading these amazing performance groups — your creativity and dedication truly shined on stage! And a big thank you to Ms. Kia for building such a fabulous cheerleading program — our Bullpup spirit was on full display! We are so proud of every performer who brought energy, heart, and talent to the stage. You rocked it, Bullpups! Bravo to all — let’s give them a standing ovation!

Today, Mrs. McDonald’s and Mrs. Kahn’s VPK classes hopped over to Brookdale Senior Living for a fun-filled Easter Egg Hunt and a heartwarming visit with the residents! Our littlest Bullpups had a blast hunting for eggs 🐣, sharing smiles 🌸, and spreading kindness ❤️. It was a beautiful day of connection, joy, and springtime magic 🌷🐰. A big thank you to the wonderful residents and staff at Brookdale for welcoming us with open arms — and to our amazing VPK teachers for making these special moments happen!

First Responder Day + Cops on Campus = A Day to Remember! Today was full of learning, leadership, and lots of fun as we celebrated 1st Responder Day and welcomed Cops on Campus! Our students had a blast participating in field-day-style events led by the incredible Tavares Police Department. Third grade classes dove into themed lessons about police officers and firefighters—what a great way to connect learning with real-world heroes! A big shoutout to our amazing SRO, Officer Martin, who wrapped up the day with a powerful presentation on bullying awareness and prevention. We are so thankful for the dedication and service of our first responders—and for the meaningful connections they build with our students every day!

🌸🐣 Hoppin’ into spring fun! 🐰💐 Mrs. Pearson’s Pre-K class had an egg-citing Easter Egg Hunt today! The kiddos had a blast searching high and low for colorful eggs, giggling with friends, and enjoying the sunshine. Smiles, laughter, and lots of joy filled the day—what a wonderful way to celebrate the season! 💛🌷

Way to go, Bullpup Runners! 👟🐾❤️ This morning, our Tavares Elementary Bullpups showed up and showed out at the Patriot Mile at TMS! Both our girls and boys teams brought home 2nd place overall 🥈🥈 and we couldn’t be prouder. A special shoutout to Brynlee, who placed 8th in the girls race, and to our boys—Gabriel, who took 1st place 🥇, and Jett, who finished 6th!
