East Ridge Middle School has been recognized as a Distinguished Kindness School by the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation. This recognition reflects the intentional and meaningful work of the school's counseling team, who completed all of the requirements necessary to earn this honor.
Throughout the process, all of the students signed the Kindness Pledge, participated in kindness-focused activities such as creating kindness cards, and helped ensure the message that "kindness is the norm" was visible and felt across the campus.
"We are incredibly honored to join more than 300 schools nationwide recognized as Distinguished Kindness Schools," Principal Jamie Sidoruk said. "Thank you to our counselors, staff, and students for making kindness a daily practice here on the Ridge."
