MOUNT DORA – Starting Monday, August 31, a major road construction project will begin near Triangle Elementary School, 1707 Eudora Road in Mount Dora, affecting local traffic patterns and motorists commuting to and from the school.
The intersection of Eudora Road and Old U.S. Highway 441 will be partially closed, with northbound and southbound movements restricted, to allow for the construction of a new roundabout.
During construction, which is expected to continue through January, Bay Street, Lake Center Drive, and U.S. Highway 441 can be used as alternate routes for accessing County Road 19A and Eudora Road. To help manage traffic flow, a new traffic signal at Triangle Drive, Lake Center Drive, and Old State Road 19 will be operational before August 31.
