School! Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a 3-tiered evidence-based prevention framework that leads to reduced exclusionary discipline and improved student and teacher outcomes when fully implemented. By establishing PBIS, we are developing skills, enhancing our school environment, acknowledging appropriate behavior, and using data to identify supports for all of our students and teachers. As a PBIS Model School, we are committed to the effective implementation of PBIS and are seeking positive outcomes for all!

Hello Gator Athletes, The following is our updated Athletic Packet for this school year. This will need to be printed and completed with a physical before participating in sports. All students who would like to participate in any sports after school must use the sports physical form in the GMS Athletic Packet. We will have a Physical Night for our Gray Middle Gators on August 23, 2024 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM for a $10 donation.

The City of Mascotte has exciting news! They will be hosting another youth dance on August 24, 2024 at the Mascotte Civic Center from 7:00p.m. to 9:30 p.m.. The theme for this dance will be say Aloha to the summer and Aloha to the new school year. There will be free food and snacks , along with drinks provided. They will also have a DJ and 2 different photo booths for the kids. This will be a supervised event as last time . Event is open to all 5th to 8th graders. We look forward to seeing you there!

We had an amazing day in The Swamp! Teachers and staff enjoyed breakfast, were encouraged in our staff meeting, played games to pick up keys, enjoyed a catered lunch from Texas Roadhouse, and engaged in Professional Learning on campus. We are making gains and this is the year of The Gator!

Today we were able to welcome our new teachers and mentors at Gray Middle. It was a great day filled with awesome people! It's going to be a fantastic year in The Swamp :)
The Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday continues through Sunday, August 11. It is designed to help Florida families save money on essential items students need for the upcoming year. It includes items such as Up to $1,500 for personal computers, tablets electronic book readers, headphones and related accessories; school supplies selling for $50 or less, such as binders, notebooks, folders, markers and pencils; backpacks, clothing and footwear up to $100; and learning aids and related resources such as flashcards, interactive books and matching games selling for $30 or less.
We welcome all of our Gators and Gator Families to campus on Thursday 8/8/24 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM for our Meet and Greet. We look forward to seeing you then! It will be a great year in The Swamp!
