Day 170 — A Celebration to Remember! Friday was bursting with orange, excitement, and love for the incredible Class of 2025! Our 2nd Annual Senior Pep Rally was a vibrant tribute to our 571 graduating seniors, honoring their hard work, resilience, and accomplishments. We are beyond proud of each and every one of you. Day 169: Follow us to Oz, folks! LMHS Birds of Play dazzled with two spectacular performances of The Wizard of Oz! Don't miss your chance this Saturday at 2PM and 7PM to catch these exceptionally talented performers live! Coach Kewaski Jackson – Lake Minneola’s New Head Basketball Coach With over 15 years of coaching experience, Coach Kewaski Jackson is a distinguished leader in player development, mentorship, and cultivating championship culture. A United States Navy Veteran and former collegiate athlete at Alabama A&M University, Coach Jackson brings discipline, resilience, and a strategic mindset to every program he leads. Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Coach Jackson excelled at Woodlawn High School, helping his team clinch the Alabama 6A State Championship in 2000. His collegiate career at Alabama A&M further shaped his skills and deepened his love for the game. Coach Jackson is dedicated to fostering an environment founded on integrity, accountability, respect, and teamwork. His coaching philosophy integrates fundamentals, basketball IQ, and life skills to shape not just successful athletes but also confident, responsible young men. Career Achievements: Player – Woodlawn High School: Alabama 6A State Champion, Class of 2000 Coach – Altamonte Christian School: Sunshine State Athletic Conference (SSAC) 4A Champions – 2023 Sunshine State Athletic Conference (SSAC) 5A Champions – 2024 National Association of Christian Athletes (NACA) National Champions – 2024 Florida Athletic Conference Association (FACA): Independent Coach of the Year – 2023 & 2024 Coach Jackson has successfully nurtured student-athletes who have secured Division I, II, and III scholarships, with many now pursuing professional careers overseas. Beyond the court, he is deeply committed to community outreach, mentoring youth, and promoting academic excellence. He resides proudly with his wife, Kayla Jackson, and together they are raising three sons and a daughter.

📦 Time to Turn Them In! Chromebook Collection is Coming! The end of the school year is right around the corner, and it’s time to get those Chromebooks ready for return. Here’s what you need to know to make the process quick and smooth: ✅ What to Do Before You Turn In Your Device Remove all stickers and decorations ➤ Don’t forget to clean off any sticky residue! ➤ A safe way to clean: use a slightly damp cloth (water only) — no chemicals or sprays! ➤ Check that your device is fully charged (100%) ➤ Turn in your charger ➤ Must include both parts: the brick and the cable! ➤ Report damage early ➤ If your device isn’t working or is damaged, turn it in now — don’t wait for collection day! ➤ Ask questions? ➤ See your school’s Media Specialist for help.
